T-294RH B/RB Chrysler Hydraulic Roller Lifter Camshaft

This is the exact cam we made for David Freiburger's General Mayhem Charger. Is it the perfect street cam for a 440? It just might be. This isn't just a higher lift version of our standard 294RH, but a different lobe family all together with slightly faster ramp rates and does require slightly more spring pressure and a high quality lifter capable of handing that, such as our Hi-Endurance lifter P/N 5413 (same lifters used in the G.M. build).

Perfect hot street or moderate track cam for engines with ported or aftermarket heads and single or high performance dual plane manifolds. 10:1 compression ratio or higher, shorty or long tube headers suggested. Manual transmission or automatic with 2400+ stall converter. We can grind this cam on almost any LSA you want by request (call to order that way).

If vacuum isn't a concern, and no nitrous is planned, we suggest having us tighten the LSA from 110 to 108 for more power (the LSA for the G.M. cam was ground on a 110 to accommodate a baby shot of nitrous).

This cam features lobes from our Track Series of roller profiles that have faster ramp rates than a standard hydraulic roller profile and are also compatible with solid roller lifters if 'tight lashed,' (0.006"-0.014" hot clearance) as is becoming popular to do with some racers.

Another note, if you plan on running ported aftermarket heads, and are already buying roller rockers, then we suggest stepping up to a 1.6:1 ratio to raise the valve lift to .592"/.592" for better breathing.
